“ We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona and in the hotel Duquesa de Cardona very, very much. The whole sutff have been so nice and friendly so for us it was a double pleasure to discover a week long the bauty and the so many fascinating faces of Barcelona. And we know, one week wasn't enough, so we have to come back for another couple of days staying at this hotel. ”

“ Stayed at the hotel with my friend for a couple of days for my birthday weekend , On arriving at the hotel we received a fabulous welcome from Pedro who gave us a glass of champagne and chocolate. The hotel is in a great location over looking the marina and short walk to Las Ramblas and the Gothic quarter. The rooms themselves were very clean, modern and quite large we had an interior room which didn't let in much light. We didn't dine in the hotel but used the roof terrace bar which has amazing views over the city and was also reasonably priced . On the Saturday we were unsure where to go for dinner and didn't want get caught in the expensive tourism trap that is Las Ramblas so asked for recommendations. Pedro couldn't do enough for us and recommended a lovely Tapas bar in the area which we went to and thoroughly enjoyed and wouldn't have found otherwise.
An Excellent hotel for anyone who wants to stay centrally and a massive thank you to Pedro for going that little bit further and making my first visit to Barcelona a memorable one I will certainly be back! ”

“ Very nice modern, newly renovated, room. The hotel is perfect situated for both the beach and shoping. Nice breakfast, and nice drinks on the roof bar. The roof pool is small... Some very nice restaurant near by. ”

“ Duquesa hotel is very well situated (right in the center of Barcelona) and the staff there was very friendly. Our room was beautiful and we were given a glass of champagne on our arrival. They have a really nice little terrasse on the roof where one can simply have a drink or get dinner. The swimming pool is way smaller than it looks like on their website though - but since it was too cold for that anyway, it didn't really concern us. On departure, they offered to call a taxi. All in all, although I wouldn't give it a 5/5, it was a great hotel and we had a good time there ”

“ We stayed here for 3 nights and this is the best hotel i have stayed in Barcelona. Location perfect, opposite the harbour and 5 mins from Las Ramblas.
The hotel itself is very grand and stunning. Our standard double room was very comfortable. Very spacious, very comfortable bed, TV had a few english channels, the bathroom was huge with lovely complementary toiletries and fresh daily towels. We slept very well, the windows are double glazed. The breakfast was lovely with lots of selection and very attentive waiting staff. The roof top bar had a fantastic view, we had a mojito to soak up the view.
The staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel and next time we come to barcelona i will not bother looking as this will be our hotel.”
