Museu de Historia de Catalunya
Located in the barcelona distric's Palau de Mar building, the Museum is a tour of the country's history. The permanent exhibition forms an interactive walk through history of Catalunya, enhances by objects, sudiovisual systems, computers and documents. Allow yourself to share a table with the ancient Iberians or appear in a medieval battle. Travel from the "Roots" to the Lower Palelithic, to the fall of the Roman empire and the Visigothic Spain, and to the Al-Andalus and the formation of the first Catalan county.
The trip in history makes reference to the industrial revolution, the Civil War and the "Defeat and recovery" of the country. Museu d'Història de Catalunya is without a doubt an interesting start to understand the political situation of this part of Spain nowadays.
